Join us for a one-day short-term mission trip to the Texas-Mexico border, where we will partner with a local church to host a Christmas festival for the city. This family event will include a cookout for the community, Christmas craft and game stations, and a special nativity presentation featuring local children. Together, we’ll help the church create a joyful celebration that not only brings the community together but also shares the true reason for the season—Jesus. This trip is a meaningful way to encourage and support the church in their ongoing ministry while spreading the hope and love of Christ during the Christmas season.

Mission Partners: Reaching Across Ministries |

Reaching Across Ministries (RAM), led by director Rick Lay, has celebrated numerous milestones since its founding in 1996. Serving over 120 churches in 9 cities along the US and Mexico border, Oak Hills Church has partnered with RAM to help develop and share material to better equip pastors and church leaders along the Texas Mexico Border.

Trip Highlights:

 Help host a Christmas Festival with a nativity presentation, cookout, and games

Partner with a local Texas Border Church to encourage and support their continued work

An opportunity to celebrate the season through service and a focus on the true meaning of Christmas

Preparation Meetings

There will be 2 team meetings to prepare you for cross cultural missions. Attendance is required, focusing on team unity, cultural insights, and trip preparation.

You must have completed our Volunteer Application to be approved to participate  Vol App 2 for over 18 ... Youth App for 13-17 ...12 and Under
