Focus: Community Building, Children’s Ministry
Join us for a meaningful journey with Project RED in El Salvador, where you’ll connect with families who have endured profound trauma and are on a path toward healing and hope. Open to current Project RED supporters aged 18 and older, this trip is designed for those who want to personally engage with families and local staff, providing encouragement and spiritual refreshment. Throughout the week, you’ll visit families served by Project RED, sharing meals, listening to stories, and participating in activities that foster trust, resilience, and faith.
Mission Partners
Project RED: Project RED has established relationships with partnering organizations committed to empowering, sponsoring, and enabling children and families across El Salvador since 2011. Their team of Salvadoran practitioners walk alongside families as they help to facilitate healing and meet their needs in order to break the cycle of poverty. Project RED has established partnerships with a variety of private and public institutions connected with Child Protective Services, ensuring that all children are placed in safe, nurturing environments.

- Offer emotional support and practical care to families who have survived extreme trauma.
What's Included
The $1900.00 cost includes airfare, meals, lodging, in-country transportation, travel insurance, and all ministry-related supplies and costs. Note: sightseeing activities and souvenirs are at your own expense.
Fundraising
When considering the cost of the trip, we encourage all participants to fundraise to make this mission possible. Oak Hills Church will provide a fundraising platform and guidance on effective ways to raise support. Together, we’ll make it happen!
Preparation Meetings
There will be 4 team meetings to prepare you for cross-cultural missions. Attendance at a minimum of three team meetings is required, focusing on team unity, cultural insights, and trip preparation.
