Fishers of Men -
Saturday | 6:00 AM
Details

The men's fishing group should be a fun group activity involving strategy, patience, learning techniques from other fishermen, a sense of peace, skill building, etc which should be applicable in everyday life. Learning how to adapt to adversity with a positive attitude through scripture and a manner that pleases Him. This group is open to any wife, significant other, and kids are more than welcome to come join their fathers and husbands in this fishing group! Teaching kids early about Jesus and skill building techniques should give them a wonderful advantage early in life. Single mothers who want their kids to join are also invited. Meetings will take place on the 1st Saturday of every month, barring any national holiday that falls during those times at various fishing locations. It would be nice for us to meet at 6am (or when the park opens to set everything up/ a prayer circle 10 to 20 min study group) and be able to wrap things up by 1pm. Of course, anyone who wants to stay longer, that's fine. However, by 1pm we can all have an exit prayer circle and everyone accounted for. Please note that everyone needs to have an updated fishing license. They can be purchased for between $10 and $30 at Walmart. Address location is 21 Upper Cibolo Creek Rd - Boerne, TX 78006
